The ChocALM project is a research project supported by the University of Exeter and in collaboration with Exeter Advanced Technologies, however we are currently looking for a suitable sponsor who can help to support the project. What we can offer
![]() Fab@Home printing with chocolate It is intended that the ChocALM project will be a multi-year project, and that this year (by mid-2008) a first working prototype will have been designed and manufactured. Why we need helpWe would like help on two different levels: We need to understand the material characteristics of different types of chocolate in order to tune the manufacturing technique to the characteristics of the material. We would be happy to receive help from people working with chocolate in manufacturing processes to better understand how to manipulate the chocolate, whilst retaining its taste and texture. Whilst we are supplied with funding from the university, to successfully complete this project we will require further support to meet our required budget for materials for manufacture of the prototype. Further informationIf you would like additional information regarding the project, or how our project could help you, please see 'The Team' page for contact details.
